Olayinka Joel Nzekwue
Olayinka obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B) from the Faculty of Law, ObafemiAwolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State with Second Class Upper Division in 2000 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2002. She also obtained her Masters in Business Administration degree (MBA) from LadokeAkintola University of Technology, Oyo State in 2011.
Between October 2002 and November 2005, she worked with a non-governmental organization with core interest in the protection of women and children's rights against women trafficking and child labour. She was actively involved in the organization's program design and implementation; and its collaboration with local and international development partners such as International Labour Organization (ILO), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Organization against Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) and the British High Commission amongst others.
From December 2005 till date, she has been engaged in core legal practice where she has offered company secretarial and regulatory advisory services, managed compliance issues of clientele portfolio and in the process, liaised with the requisite regulatory bodies, such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Abuja Geographic Information System (AGIS), the Lagos State Lands Registry; Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS); and Small and Medium Scale Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN). She has provided general legal advice and opinion on issues relating to the operations of the clients' businesses including but not limited to various agreements and contracts, debt recovery and Human Capital Management.
She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN).
